Here's a really simple craft allowing for endless creative variations:
You will need: one or more transparencies; scissors; transparency (permanent) markers; optional - some glitter glue or nail polish (I stopped buying glitter glue; instead I buy some cheap nail polish in glittering or shiny colors, and use it instead, solely for this purpose. It is much easier for the kids to use, inexpensive, and comes in a variety of shades and textures). Also needed is some kind of string or ribbon and a hole punch.
Cut the transparency in the desired shape, decorate using the markers and glitter or nail polish, punch a small hole near the top and tie the ribbon around it. Enjoy your reading! :-)
